What a greedy bastard Jaylon is. He was hurt and Dallas still gave him his money 2 years before they needed too. I can’t believe he and his agents forced Jerry into this so early. Just shut up you spoiled millennial and honor the contract you signed.

(See, I can joke around too @jarntt )
Honestly, a good signing. Dallas will have one of the elite LB units in the NFL for years.

I think when you have a guy that you had rated as a top 5 player in the entire draft and he is now pretty much performing at that level, you try and keep him regardless of his position.

I do agree with that. He’s a special talent and it’s especially good because it doesn’t sound like they gave him a record breaking deal.
His only two strikes are Notre Dame then Dallas. :o

This sounds a lot more likely than top 8

If I were guessing before I read these tweets I'd say Dallas sticks with the narrative and offers him top 5 money which would be around $12M-$14M per. I'll guess 5 years $64M. Guaranteed around $20M

Pumped for him. Glad to see him get healthy and get rewarded like this. He cost himself like 25 million getting injured in a meaningless game, so I'm glad he scored a huge second contract.

Jaylon has worked hard, played well, stayed out of trouble and said he wants to be a Cowboy for life. And he got paid. Same story for Dak, and he is about to get paid. Zeke and his agent should take note of that.

Well a bit late for that.

That was his belief. Don’t get the point of this unless you think Dallas has had a better run of success since Jimmy left.
No, but jerry let a few linebackers go after Jimmy left and they were good players which did not help the defense any

Well I don't mind patting myself on the back for the contract amount, but a little bit of a swing and miss on the guaranteed money...

ND was a choice Dal was not so I don't hold it against him.

Well I hold the ND part against him.
And I also hold against him the “I want to be a Cowboy for life”.

Obviously his priorities are out of wack. He should have went to Temple then signed with the Eagles as a FA. Especially considering how mediocre our LBers are!

Dallas is really set at LBer for a looong while.
