So what ? A guy who was qualified got a shot . Doesn’t mean he succeeds but he is what the doctor ordered to change this culture

Completely understand Sportster about Snyder however, he doesn't control what happens on the playing field, RR and his coaches do. He has done multiple things recently that are praise worthy but I'm thinking you are such a hater (you have every right) that you do not see what is happening inside/outside this fluently changing WFT organization. I'm totally onboard, like all changes made to date and looking forward to a bright future in Washington Football. :2cents:

LMAO @ you are such a hater. The term for you saying what I want to hear so you must be a hater.

If you are referring to the recent hiring's going back to RR then you have not seen me aay much negative about any of those hiring's.

He hired good people before Marty, the Shanahan's, Gibbs II ... how did that turn out? I was excited back then too but damn if they didn't all go up in smoke.

The word is I am a realist, not a hater. Like I said there are 20 years to support my theory. I hope I am dead wrong. Hell I hope he can luck into a Super Bowl but just don't see it happening. I like RR, I really like the hiring of JDR as the DC. I like Julie Donaldson, I don't know about her qualifications but I am ecstatic that Larry Michael is gone. I don't know Jason Wright but what the hell, he seems like a smart guy. You can't leave the new stadium up to Dan alone He would screw the pooch there. So please ... put away your hater button.

You are wrong about Snyder not having an effect on the field. How many players did he let go that shouldn't have been? How many did he want to sign that should have never been signed? He is the one that hired the Shanahan's and then with his good buddy thought they should give him McNabb as a present. He is the one that wanted Robert Griffin. He is the one that wanted Haskin's. I am hoping one out of three ain't bad. He most certainly has an effect on the field.

Here's to a Super Bowl for all the super fans and the haters. :suds:

You cannot say that he hasn't been trying. He is just really bad at it so he hired RR with the so called "Coach Centric" approach. Hoping it works out for all of us including the haters. :suds:

How about people praise the organization for these hires, a recent culture change and a new direction under Dan Snyder because that is what's happening here.
Seriously? How many times have we heard that from this organization in the last 20 years?? An new direction.....a culture change.

Dan Snyder does not deserve to be taken at this word. Only his actions will tell the truth. And, to date, his actions have been pretty consistent. I sincerely hope he has had an epiphany, but I really doubt it.

he doesnt control what happens on the field??? Really? Tell that to Jim Zorn when Snyder brought in the bingo caller. Or to Mike Shanahan when Snyder allowed, and supported, RG3's decision to affect play calling. Those actions have a direct result in what happens on the field.

New culture people, get used to it. Snyder is not calling the shots anymore, competent people are now.

So what exactly is this new culture you keep talking about?

A culture of trust lead by Rivera. All the rats are off the ship. Snyder out of the way. Trust in the process, trust from within, trust among each other will build a sustainable culture the organization can make its fans proud of.

Ii hope you are right. Unfortunately I have heard this same tune with every new HC Snyder has brought in. As I said in an earlier post, Snyder no longer deserves to be believed on his word alone. I will only judge him on his actions. And, despite what he says, his actions have been pretty consistent over the last 20 years.

I hope your trust works. I mentioned the other day he has had a few good coaching staffs here before and Marty went 8-8 in his one year, Coach Gibbs had a good year or two but two bad years and the Shanahan's had one good year.

I like RR and I really like JDR as a DC but I can't believe the tide is coming in until I see it. Now add the health concerns for the new HC and it gives me even more pause. Hopefully Rivera will be fine after cancer treatments.

I also agree with you about Snyder. Can he remain silent or out of the way? His track record has proven otherwise but let's give Rivera his shot. In Ron I trust, until I do not.

That will be the key. Can Dan not meddle in Ron's business? He has done it with every head coach he has, almost entirely to the detriment to the success of the team. Only time will tell.

Perhaps Snyder is finally learning some really hard lessons right now.
