MLB.com's Greg Johns tweets that Jason Bay could be heading to Japan to play with the Yomiuri Giants, and Jon Heyman of CBS Sports adds (also on Twitter) that Yomiuri has an offer out to Bay.
Bay, 35, is coming off a season in which he batted .204/.298/.393 with 11 homers in Seattle. The 2004 NL Rookie of the Year, Bay batted .280/.376/.519 over the first seven years of his big league career, but he's batted just .229/.314/.373 since that time.

What a shame, really wish he was healthy and more productive as a Met.

He made roughly $18 million last year, don't feel too bad for the guy. Hated the Jason Bay signing from day 1, I could not have possibly imagined he'd be as bad as he was with us for the 10 games a year he'd actually play.
