He was cut by the chiefs today....He was out most of the 2010 season with back problems. I wonder if that had anything to do with him being released.If he can stay healthy he could back-up Davis at the right tackle spot.Davis has struggled the last few games.

He played one snap for Albert in the last game and false started. I'm guessing that was a contributing factor, granted he can't expect to be loose coming off the bench but to false start on the final drive, going for the game winner, doesn't leave a great taste in the coach's mouth. He seemed to play well in Baltimore but if John cut him I don't see Jim picking him up.

If he can play guard, definitely give him a look. Boone backups both Ts.

and, IMO, A Davis played poor on TNF where as a good amount of games beforehand he was one of our best Blockers in run/pass.
