Had an acquaintance that played in the bigs. He didn't last long at all, blamed it on throwing junk WAY too early and WAY too often.

He doesn't let his boy throw junk AT ALL...and his boy plays in travelers. Says he can start when he is in college, but advises him to ease into it as slowly as possible.
