IMO there's a good chance Seattle loses that game if Jamal Adams was not playing today. A large majority of his tackles were ABSOLUTE clutch and resulted in stuffs or loss of yards, and if you put some pleb safety on Jones early on when Adams made the deflection/stop, that probably goes for 40+ yards.

Jamal Adams IMO is a LARGE reason (Wagner/Wilson of course as well) Seattle is 1-0.

Most telling was when two blockers were clearing a path for a screen, two Seattle defenders were kind of squaring up and unsure... or waiting... Adams just knifed in there and wiped out the play for a loss or neutral yards. It was just another level.

I'm changing my A grade of Seattle and F grade of the Jets on that trade to A+ grade Seattle and WTF LOL SEATTLE MARINERS LIKE TRADE for the Jets.

No one has ever doubted that Adams was/is a top safety.

I didn't watch the game so can't really comment. Are individual stats important today? I never know on the hoop. Guess it's all about the agenda?

Stats certainly look impressive. Then again it was against ATL and it's only one week.

Regardless my point like many others is Seattle overpaid.

Looking forward to next week. We're onto Seattle.

I remember reading how many people thought this was a dumb trade.

Should be a good game, hopefully the air quality clears up a bit

He is pretty good. I think we all have to temper our enthusiasm. After all, it is only 1 week.

The year we drafted CMC, was hoping this guy would fall to the Panthers. Stud safety is worth his weight in gold.

Man Jamal Adams killed it in his debut he reminds me of a cocky Troy Palomalu just wrecking dudes. I will agree with someones comment in if he hadnt played there is a great chance the seahawks were going to lose todays game.

I was including myself in that assessment. I am crazy excited about D-Hop as you are about Adams.

We "ALL" need to temper our expectations after 1 week.
I don’t think anything was wrong with my post or your post tbh, I think we both prefaced it with they had a good week 1 and nothing more yet. I don’t think we are jumping the gun at all.

Found this interesting from ESPNs analytics writer Seth Walder:
When Jamal Adams was the nearest defender to the targeted receiver tonight, the Patriots went 6-6 for 157 yards, per NFL Next Gen Stats. One, *maybe* two, of those catches might not have been Adams' responsibility. But

Nope just saw an unbiased article and decided to leave it right here.

I didn't write it.

Do you find something inaccurate with what he wrote?

Adams is a stud. He is certainly better rushing the passer, but you really have to search to find flaws in his game.
