I hope not. Richard Sherman 2.0. I and several other Seahawk fans got pretty tired of Sherms act too. That shit can really put off a fan base. And I really don't want the team to tie up a bunch of money on CB's. The young guys have done an adequate job for the most part and they will get better. PC seems to have a pretty good eye for talent on that side of the ball.

2nd NFL contract upcoming for this player....he was a high 1st round pick so he's been making good money, but 2nd contract players in the NFL are finally making good money by NFL standards, they rarely leave any on the table.

I think he is, but that doesn't really matter. What does matter is whether he's the best CB in FA. 2021 is a long way off, and I agree it's brash to start calling your market in 2019 but he would be silly to offer JAX a discount on his 1st FA contract.

He's not though. AJ Bouye is roundly acknowledged as the best CB on that team, at least presently. He's arguably the best cover CB in the entire NFL. He's not the athletic freak Ramsey is, and he wasn't a top 5 pick like Ramsay, but he is a better CB by basically any measure.
