I was thinking of a game manager comparison. Taylor is definitely more of an athlete.
I actually am confident in saying Taylor has a better arm too, maybe not the brain

He’s not that good, and poor arm strength. Just cause he was in a winning team
Doesn’t make him
Good
Didn’t say it did. Have you seen some of the guys who work their way into long term backup spots? He’s not that good, but he’s not that bad either.

Alright lets try this. What makes you think he would be decent nfl backup? What did he do in college that makes u think that?

Besides his sophomore season, and taking into account his declining play in junior and senior years, and injuries to his throwing arm.

I’ll gladly flip my opinion. But even some of these scrum backups had fairly good college numbers, or at least have a big arm

I mean Wentz has had only 1 great year and I've heard hes a phenomenal superstar who is going to dominate this game for the next 10-15 years. So

The pride of Folsom High School. Could see him sticking around like Kellen Moore. Similar skill set. Maybe it's just the Chris Peterson connection. We'll see.

Actually stat queen if you would’ve actually dived a little deeper he added an extra 15 yards to his deep ball due to mechanics in the pre draft, time will tell not a starter but he’s in Minny so anything is possible

NFL.com's analysis

"Browning has moments where he can rise to the occasion, but he's failed to sustain it over the last two seasons and he doesn't have the size, arm strength or intangibles to fall back on."
  • Injured throwing shoulder in both 2015 and 2016
  • Play showed regression over the last two years
    • Non-threatening arm strength
    • Doesn't have hose for target practice in tight windows
    • Windup release allows cornerbacks a head start on his throws
    • Short arms too many attempts
    • Dreadful decision making lead to interceptions

I saw him make some pretty good throws over the years. Playing alongside the likes of Myles Gaskins helped but he did what he had to do in his four years and the teams were very successful. I think he could develop into a solid backup and even fill in from time to time.

He will be coaching HS football in two years or maybe a backup for a XFL team.

What's wrong with coaching HS football?
I know alot of your alum in the state that coach HS football

Maybe Leach will hire him as an OC and Jake can show him how to run a balance attack in games

no rebuttal on the actual NFL.com analysis?

No it was written in Jan/Feb.
He left here in late January and went down to one of those Cali QB clinics and they tweaked his mechanics, ( which started a shit storm up here cause he basically called out the coaching staff at UW for not fixing him after the surgeries)

Im not saying he's a strong armed QB, he's system guy. He can succeed in a west coast offense since its timing routes and Jake can make those throws when he's healthy....

Minny had to have seen something altered in his throws since they signed him. He needs and will sit and learn.
The kid can win, his whole career in HS and college, I know its 1000 times faster in the big boy league, but why not take a chance on a kid that knows the game, that can win, and can be coached up...

i totally understand what your saying.

But i guess my point is why him? Why not someone else?

Those arguments could be made for a dozen qb's. 11 with a stronger arm and more mobile.
