well, at least i got half of my wish for the AFCCG ... the Titans couldn't come through though.

good to see someone new get deep in the playoffs .... Jags haven't been to an AFCCG for quite a few years.

I think they will take down NE also, and then it looks like Jags vs Vikings SB......That would be a good one imo...

I think Jacksonville also has about a 40% chance against New England. I'd say it was a 50/50 game if Bortles can be at least average.

The pats will win, unless this is the game we find out they're no longer the pats (which it won't be). Jacksonville's only path to victory will be close and low-scoring, but NE will take away option #1 in any offense and this week its Fournette (take a look at Derrick Henry's rushing stats from last week if you need a preview) and Bortles will be forced to throw. I don't think unless he gets desperate that he will make some bonehead interception but it'll be very tough on him.

In my opinion the main analysis you need to do here is look at a picture of Doug Marrone for ten seconds and try to imagine that thing beating Belichick in the afc championship and frankly it's hard to see how that happens. Nevermind Bortles...

Before I get in trouble (and probably deservedly so- perhaps I just don't believe in miracles!) I do have to give major props about how good the Jags have been this season, both on the field and defensively for my fantasy team lol! They have been fun to watch and i wish their fans good luck and hope they will be able to build on this for the future. With the right moves they can be a sb winning team. But this year is number 6 for the empire.

Because I don't think Tomlin is an idiot.

Jacksonville scored three points without the aid of turnovers. All their TDs came on or after one of their five picks of Rochambeau. I don't believe for one second that Pittsburgh is going to have Richelieu throw the ball 55 times this week. They win fairly easily if they don't put Rorschach in that situation.

You were right

And they lost.

That's what I get for giving Tomlin credit.

Yeah, I'm just messing with you. They got down pretty big and didn't have much of a choice.

FWIW, I have always thought Tomlin is a poor coach.

I think realistically the Jags have a 30% chance to win. Just a lot to overcome.

They are young and inexperienced. They are playing in NE. They will be outcoached. TB has seen almost all you can throw at him. The Pats can run the ball. The Pats D is better then people think. The Pats are just better.

All that being said I too would have no issues, in fact I think a Jvill Minn SB would be fun.

Brady will pick that Jags defense apart.

Chances? Zero. The Patriots are a :lock1:. There is nothing that could possibly happen in this game that would cause them to lose. All they have to do is show up.

Gonna say 45% - Ref named Cletus that hates the Pats, Brady almost breaks his hand, both coordinators leaving and Mitchell still on IR - all bad signs.
