What a career both as a player and coach, I've been getting on Jacques lately, but there's no denying that he's had a storied career in the National Hockey League.

Great career, but the Devs need a different style with the players they have now. They may actually get out of the first round next year.

Is the the end of the trap? There are a lot of teams that focus on it around the league, but his teams always seemed like the best at it.

Good bye and thanks (sort of) for bringing the trap to the NHL. Brilliant hockey mind.

I'm hoping Lou gives John MacLean a shot. He did his time as an assitant and this year did well as an AHL head coach in Lowell

Plus it would give me a good excuse to wear his old jersey to a few games :)

The Trap's dead. They have variations of it like the Left-Wing Lock...but you can't effectively trap without interferring in the neutral zone.
