I think @The Derski is probably more accurate with where he might end up.

Pitt flat out doesnt need him. Tuitt and Heyward are flat out better players. JJ willing to be a backup? Probably not.
Get the family together and not depend on him to start. His injury history the last 5 years is pretty serious. If he comes to Pitt to be a wave player, he can extend his career some. He'll still get lots of snaps, but not have to beat his old man ass up too much.

Buffalo is desperate for pass rush.

I'd like to see him lined up opposite of Myles Garrett.

He probably wants to compete for a ring though. Pittsburgh isn't really on track for that with their QB situation.

If he is willing to become a third down pass rusher sign him for a season. If it works out then talk a serious contract for a pass rush specialist. Don't think he can hold up playing full time anymore. Might be wrong and hope I am.

He'd be a plus on any team, the guy gets it.

If Belichick did this, people would be praising them for moving him before the wheels fell off...
At this point, he is the type of player you give a 2 year contract to and only really expect 1 great year.

But I also feel like he is the type of player where almost every team in the league would kick those tires.

Comparing the franchise of dysfunction that are the Houston Texans to BB and the Pats. Oh man, thanks for the laugh.

I'm not comparing. I'm just saying it's not ridiculous for them to let an aging, off-injured player that wants out to walk. We already know the public perception of that franchise; do you really think they are capable of getting anything of value in trade for him?

He's still got some in the tank. If he can stay healthy.

Here's the thing though by bringing up BB. He's known to get rid of players. I can't imagine many, if any, asked BB for an outright release. Watt asked for his release. I don't think it's the same as BB cutting players.

Is there anyone out there who doesn't think that Florio is a fucking idiot?!

Couldn't have anything to do with age, position, cap number, trade value, nope. It must be a racial thing!

He's still waiting for the video of Dez in the parking lot of that Walmart years ago. Along with Schefter and a few others. He sucks.

HIs wife is a pro soccer player in Chicago so he would not mind being closer to her. A home town discount to help get a ring
Gonna need more than him with joe Barry as coordinator

Not to mention Pittsburgh has zero room under the cap for him.
Cap is projected to go up now. Pouncey retiring saves $8m and Ben may follow. That would clear up a ton of space.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they suddenly had the money to sign Hilton & Juju, and evening have money left to chase a FA.

Watt is not what he once was but he is still a decent DE in a 3-4 defense. I think he will probably end up with Green Bay, Tampa Bay or another team seen as a likely title contender. For this guy all that matters at this stage is a ring, he's made a lot of money.

Bold: I agree, he's not going anywhere that doesn't meet that condition.
