This is a fair point, but I'm gonna guess he's going to want way more than what he's worth, which would mean no KD pursuit. Realistically he should be getting no more than the type of deal that Tristan Thompson/Draymond Green got last year (honestly he doesn't deserve that much), but he will be seeking the max for sure.

Unfortunately, he hasn't come to the conclusion that he isn't a top scoring option. He's seemingly always complaining about touches. If he could resign himself to being a rebounding/defense/put-back guy, he would be in pretty high demand actually.
