You were just stripped of your 2013 National Championship... the first team in the history of the NCAA to have that happen. Congratulations.

Interesting news for sure, so this means there was no national champ that year, is it going to be listed as vacant?
He will have to add a red 'X' over it.It means the media guides wiII aII have an *asterisk, but not sure about Pitino's tattoo though!

Here is a question. What happens to all the victories of teams that had "one and dones." You know those guys who stopped going to class in the second semester and the coaches new that they did.
Technically, I suppose they were eligible but realistically the only association they had with the school in that second semester was with B-ball program.
Not sure anyone in the CBB forum should be talking shit about stripped anything with the black cloud of the FBI looming over so many programs right now.

YikesI got banned from another forum where the Louisville apologists are still in denial about this. They're also ridiculing the "haters". It's really quite sad.
Indeed it is as I recall, but it's not in the best of tastes. Just my two cents.I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the majority, if not all the teams involved were Adidas schools.
I have no facts to back that up before anyone asks for a link... I just seem to recall hearing, seeing, or possibly reading something like that.
This is also a blow to the legacy of the original Big East. Louisville's title that year had sent the old BE out in style just before the conference split. This will certainly damage the conference's reputation for sure.
