I never understood why big, well known companies would pay to advertise during the SB in the first place. You have to sell a lot of product to recover $4M. It makes more sense if you are trying to build your brand and can somehow afford to buy those ads. I'm sure Go Daddy doesn't regret it when they started to advertise in the SB a few years back because it got them on the map. But who isn't already aware of Ford and Chevy, or Coke and Pepsi, or Coors and Bud?
