49ers waive two second-year players with future move in mind

Mabin has no business being in an NFL uniform. Don't think we saw enough of Boldin but when you are a fringe player and can't stay away from drugs you deserve to get cut.

These were fringe guys to begin with. Boldin was a training camp warrior a couple of years ago that made the team based on his preseason special teams play. But that play never carried over to the regular season. Mabin is a result of the team's lack of depth at CB.
