In the leaks to the press - there is plenty of smoke for a fire in the Offensive Coaching Staff. I have a feeling John Elway is emitting a bad vibe around the office.

1) Personally - I'd rather Kubiak fix his own wagon for the coming year. If he steps down for health reasons - I'd have to think that is a cover story - from this vantage point right now.

2) Someone has deluded the GM on the type of athletes to bring in on the Oline - how they should be trained and how much they have 'improved' and done this for a number of years.

3) Can't anyone find a TE - a thing the Broncos are traditionally good at producing?

4) I don't really know who calls the plays, but by my eyes the Broncos used the FB as a decoy far more often than as a lead blocker - or ball carrier. Why have a FB is he is just a decoy?

5) It was understandable when the Broncos didn't draft a MLB type, but there at the end of the season - there's no depth.

6) I think Parks is a better football player than Simmons.

7) Speaking of TEs - Heuerman is playing pretty well- it may be a mirage - hope he stays healthy.

8) I wonder if Adam shows he's Gotsis by next season? He looks like a redshirt freshman out there.

9) The problem with Siemian is he won't take a risk on his playmakers for opportunities to make plays. This is why despite the stats from last year - Peyton Manning was still a good QB. Lynch is the kind of guy who will take those risks, but needs to get more seasoning before trusting his instincts.

10) A couple of stout fellows in the middle of the Dline is also a need.

Only number I think is questionable is #6. Like them both but think Simmons will prove his worth next year. Ward is prob gone so we hope so. :)

Nice thread.

Trevor I now call TS-C-3PO. Kind of a robot .
Would Julius Thomas be welcomed back?
I think Elway goes full blast just like after the Super Bowl blowout but this time on offense
The last two years the offense has been unacceptable. I personally think Kubiak calls all the plays and will not give that up. He is the defacto OC. Finding those young creative minds is hard. Baltimore and Harbuagh are about to go through their 6th OC in 6 years.

Hopefully Elway seeks counsel on finding offensive players, ironically he's pretty good on the defensive side

Denver has both Gase and Jim Bob Cooter on their staff in 2013. One is a HC the other might be in 2017.

Quite a change from Shanahan where he was an offensive god but couldn't find good defensive talent to save his life.

Black Monday should get interesting in Denver. So much up in the air of the future of this coaching staff. We don't have Wade under contract past this season so could there even be changes on the defensive side of the ball?

Kubiak when asked about his future with the team just said that he loved the game of football and isn't looking past the Raiders game at this point. While it could be nothing it definitely sounded like his future is up in the air with the team.

So we could be looking at a completely new staff in the not too long future for the Broncos.

By football player - I mean - Parks is a hard nosed guy who will square up and hit you - Simmons looked pretty bad against KC and NE - he is a better athlete - probably has better ball skills, but Parks is a genuine football player.

You have to think Elway relies on his scouting and coaching staff when it comes to drafting and FA. It's not like he's the one gathering all the info and evaluating these guys. It's prob a combination of all when they make their draft board. Elway just gets to pk late rd Qbs. :)

Yeah not sure about #6, I do like both though, so it's whatever of a statement to me... Parks reminds me of Bruton at his young age. Could be a player in the NFL a long time as a ST's and backup depth S who could start if needed.

I don't think TJ Ward will be gone either.
