They call them drifters...journey men in the game they love

And then one comes along who changes everything

Started the year with Pittsburgh and fell out of grace

Hey losing your job in the show is no discrace...but to rise up...oh to rise up and do something great

Ishikawa showed what he was made of on the biggest stage

I long drive to right...a ball hit out of sight..into the bleachers it went...a 3 run jack lit up the place

Giants win the pennant...Giants win the pennant ....just like the blast Thomson hit in 1951

Who could of figured a journey man with the blast...it gave millions of Giants fans mini heart attacks

So now the journey continues for Ishikawa where drinks and meals for free follow him along the way

Back in grace he is no discrace..but a hero forever...in a story to tell for years to come

Ishikawa...Ishikawa...a blast to last forever...and a name that will last forever ...a Giant forever
