I need a second opinion here. MSN has an article about 10 coaches on the hot seat and Pete Carroll is #1 in regards to getting fired. When I read the line about Russell Wilson running for his life I'm thinking the writer must be looking at film from the past 3 seasons.

Ranking 10 NFL head coaches most likely to be fired this season

I don't think the article is saying that Pete is the most likely. In fact it said "Even though Pete Carroll is the least likely of the aforementioned coaches to get fired".

Is it possible? Sure. But not very likely.

No its BS, Pete Carroll is here until he wants to leave. This will be PC last coaching job than he will retire. Now could this be his last year doubtful but he is the oldest coach in NFL and he could say I'm done. But that would be his choice not fired. And I'm sure everyone in the organization knew they were not competing for a Superbowl this year and if we are not getting blown out each game I just don't see it PC in any hot water.

I could see PC retiring soon and move up the stairs. Fired??? Very doubtful.

Wow what a bunch of BS, i mean you can tell the person that wrote this is either a Pete Carroll hater or doesn't pay ANY attention to the Seahawks at all.

I don't think Pete has any wish to retire. John Wooden and Bud Grant are his beloved mentors.
He considers himself a coach.

I want him to stay cause I think his vision on rebuilding the D is starting to come to form with the young guys. I think the SB window could reopen next year.

i think the Hawks let Pete retire as the Hawks coach. Only one way i don't see that happening is if for some crazy reason we see 2-3 years of 2-3 wins.
