Charmin soft flower girl bigger than Brian Campbell? He annoyed me when he was on the Sharks with that stupid spin-o-rama move to get out of the way of hits after passing the puck. I love the move when it's used to get past a defender, but he does that stupid spin shit when he wants to avoid an oncoming hit in the corner.....take the hit puss-marsh.

I'm not seeing a problem with it. Playing tough doesn't mean playing stupid. If taking the hit is the best way to make the play, you should do it. If you can avoid contact in a way that isn't detrimental to the team, then go for it. By dancing around, he's slowing down, potentially making it take longer to get to the play, and setting himself up for a potential risk of injury if he gets clocked in a funny position, but he's also putting the opponent out of position if he misses the hit, denying the crowd energy in away games (and preserving it in home games), and eliminating the chance of injury you have with every hit if he successfully dodges. So I guess it'd depend on the circumstances.

Agree. It depends on the situation. No need to take a hit just for the sake of taking a hit. But at the same time if he's somehow putting his team at a disadvantage by going out of his way to avoid the hit then he should just take the hit but brace himself if possible to minimize its effect.

I never had a problem with Soupy's avoidance of hits, but I did think it was supremely hypocritical how he whined about Kronwall's hit on Havlat. Blah blah blah, dirty cheap hit, blah blah blah. Fuck you Soupy, Havlat SAW Kronwall coming and put his head back down. Do you remember the Umberger hit, because he sure doesn't, you whiny hypocritical turd.
