Is Leveon Bell even worth signing for league minimum?

Assuming we get him for the veteran minimum on a one year deal, is he worth rostering over Homer? Too much of a headache? Does he even have NFL talent anymore?

I imagine someone will kick the tires on him, but should it be the hawks?

The Steelers, Giants, and Bears all could be interested.

Less then 4 million left in cap space we may need for injuries, so I think not. Besides Penny is due back soon.

When is Penny back? Is he back after the bye? I know Adams will be, but I really liked what Penny was doing towards the end of last season.

And agreed, I just don't see how we'd be able to sign Bell when other teams with way more cap room seem like good fits for him.

Hard to say about Penny. He was brought in for testing a few days ago. Pete won’t commit to a return date.

Pass. Adams and Bell seem to be at odds so no need to bring that into the locker room. I'm sure they would put their differences aside for the team but it shouldn't be chanced.

ah, that makes a lot of sense. Bell seems like too much of a headcase to be successful anywhere and my guess is that he was cut not because of head issues, but because he is no longer starting talent. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

Something has been way off if the Jets have been shopping him around since the trade deadline from last season, plus I want Adams here long term and in no ways want to piss him off since the FO gave up top picks to get him here. Where he lands and for how much.

I think Penny will be back after the bye I don't think he will get carries but with Hyde also coming back I don't see the need to sign Bell. I am not a fan of bringing on players especially skill position players on to a team that probably doesn't have the same system, didn't go through training camp, doesn't know the playbook and is expected to catch up and perform well.

shocked someone would even want to entertain the idea of bell being here. 1. seattle doesn't need him. 2. he is worse than Homer 3. Penny is returning. 4. Bell is a cancer. I could keep going till 100 but i won't do it. just F NO on even thinking about Bell.

Offense is solid and the defense is where the hawks need help.

We don't need him, and for those that think he would be an upgrade over Homer need to understand that Homer's value is at blocking. Carson, Hyde, and Penny are our runners and Homer is our blocking RB. Where Bell would fit in the offense we are already covered, hard pass as stated above.

The guy sat out at Pitt and walked away from 18M he'll never get back. What is with these guys? Dak Prescott wouldn't sign a 125M contract in Dallas and now he's all busted up. No wonder he was crying on the golf cart. He probably took Bell's advice.

Oh shit, I didn't realize Dak walked away from a major contract. Sucks to be him.

IDK he made 31 million and the Cowboys will be paying his medical and rehab bills, pretty sure he'll get signed to a huge contract next off season. I wished my life sucked like that.
