John Tavares recently traded in his old Maple Leafs jersey for a different team’s jersey, meaning he is leaving Toronto Hockey. Ever since then, people have been calling him a “traitor”. They have done stuff like burn his jersey, run his jersey over with a car, and put his jersey number in the word traitor. Like this: (TR91TOR). If I were to let out a reaction to this, it would be something like: HOLY CRAP! Burning jerseys and running them over with a car, jeez that’s a lot of hate there. And what’s the big deal anyway? Athletes get traded to different teams all the time. Was this really worth the hatred?!
