I did a search before posting, and I couldn't find any thread for this show.

Now, checking your post history, I see you posted this trailer in a Netflix thread, but nothing wrong with also giving this show its own thread instead of tucking it away in the Netflix thread. There are plenty of shows in this forum that have their own thread.

I saw part of a trailer for it the other day. I kinda like not knowing who the characters are before hand. I had no idea who Jessica Jones was same with the other comic book heros. Not sure why but I find it more interesting. I am no comic book guy so I have no idea who this guy is, how he got his powers or who he is fighting. I like the Dr. smart guy with the cape movie but not sure I would have seen it if I knew the story line before. It would have seemed like a dumb premises IMO.

I am looking forward to it, but only because it is MCU and part of the Netflix sub-verse.

I am not a fan of the mystical side of comic books and their movies.

I have no problem with it, as I am always under the belief that once you allow for superheroes, you allow for the supernatural, but do hope it is handled well...

It was entertaining, but it wasn't fulfilling. Using Deux ex Machina just bothers me, and mysticism invites that.

Stoked for this. Luke Cage was a bit of a letdown and Daredevil season 2 was just good, not great.

I am 2 eps in, and so far I love it.

Of course, no mysticism yet, and it is pure origin story (kinda), and origin story is always engrossing.

Just watched the first episode. Gotta say, I'm a fan of every Marvel show netflix has done (still haven't got around to Jessica Jones yet) and this won't be an exception. First time I got to put my new TVs HDR to use as well.

What's the protocol for posting about a show that has all its episodes available at once?

I had to watch one more before going to sleep. Damn Netflix and their dumps...

I try to be vague and/or use the spoiler tag for the first week or two. After that, if someone opens the Ironfist thread, it is their own damn fault.

Shit probably should finish Luke Cage before starting this. Cage got a little dull IMO. Think I got 4 or 5 episodes left.

Fist looked great from the trailers though.

I remember some critics slamming this solely because the lead isn't Asian. I thought it was a stupid reason to bash a flick. Afternoon two episodes it looks good.

Oh, and I just saw Dr Strange and I don't see what all the hype was about. I thought it was dumb. Entertaining because of special effects, but I just couldn't get into it.

Watched eps 4 and 5 last night. The business arguments made (and apparently portrayed as the "good-guy" position) were so ignorant it kinda irritated me. But I expect nothing less from Hollywood.

The show is still good so far, if paced just a bit slow...
