40 years ago today, January 11, 1978, The Sex Pistols played their penultimate show at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On January 14th, their next show at Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco pretty much fell apart and they broke up that night.

The Cain's will go down in history for being where Bob Wills revolutionized country music, and where Sid Vicious put his fist through the wall.

I'm not sure if that was the show, but I seem to recall Vicious famously referring to an audience member as a, "cowboy faggot".
