I wouldn't expect him to retire.
Gordon went a few years with lots of back pain & talk of retirement crept up. Now he is one of the favorites to win the title

I don't remember Gordon's being that bad. And he is close to retiring anyway isn't he? I don't see him going Mark Martin. Hamlin's is so bad he's missed races over it.

I'm sure if at all possible he won't retire.

I think it's a safe bet that Kahne will be with a new team. Gotta make room for Chase Elliott, and Kahne is the weakest link at Hendrick.
