Interesting article and good read, thanks for posting. I suspect that are exaggerating some over what Alex is doing this year and could do in the past. There have been games when they have been forced to open it up and A has looked pretty good throwing it downfield.

So far the big difference is the lack of TOs, especially considering the number of sacks and poor protection. He is playing a bit smarter but some is luck. At this time last year he had a number of ints on tipped passes, none this year.

good for Alex Smith, he looked comfortable to me in the Dallas game and apparently its continued? yeah we ALL know it can change in a hurry but we'll take it this point.

its a credit to Harbaugh for starting Alex 'conservatively', it built his confidence fast. so now with his confidence level high, with his being comfortable, our offense can keep adding.
