Couple interesting points:

1- No we didn't have to take on Suarez contract to get Winker. We wanted Suarez.
2- No M's didn't make trade as Plan B, Jerry wanted trade as Plan A.
3- Why couldn't they talk trade during lockout? They aren't locked out from each other just players.

Eh, I don’t quite see it the same. They may have wanted Suarez but I can’t see anyway Jerry isn’t lying on it. Williamson for Winker straight up ok it makes sense and Fraley and Dunn for Suarez plus his contract makes sense. The story came out that they did make offers to all of the FA’s the fans wanted, it only said they made similar offers which in a rebuild you can’t do similar. I have been very critical of Jerry but he is doing the GM thing and lying through his teeth if option The Frazier trade and Suarez trades both happened when the ink wasn’t dry yet on the the Semien and Bryant signings.
