    not good start to camp.

Biggest loss: Cole Kmet broken collarbone

He was shaping up to be the clear no. 1 TE and a real threat on offense. Expected to be out 6-8 weeks

FR Quinn Carroll (OL). Torn ACL. His year is done. He was likely to have redshirted anyway. Question is, will he ever be 100% again?

RB Jamhir Smith. Broken hand. I believe he’s playing through it, but hope he heals fast. We’re thin at RB.

If Kmet is out for 8 games, could he play the final four and be red shirted and given a fifth year?

I suppose unless he’s RS already.

Is he out for eight games? Or just out for the remaining weeks of the off season, and then a couple of regular season games?

I don't know. I hears someone say he could miss 2/3 of the year.

Kelly spoke about this in a presser. He said it could be as early as New Mexico that he is back. It all depends on how fast he heals.

Hopefully he is. If he is, maybe they should wait another week and force Georgia to prepare for us with and without him.

We’re pretty deep at TE so not worried. They shouldn’t rush him back either way.

Clearly TE is not our biggest issue(compared to Running back or DB’s). But it’s a shame to lose someone as good as I think Kmet will be.

I’m more worried about the LB’s and interior DL. Safety we’re solid 2 deep but we get very thin after that. Corner we will be okay. But I don’t know who the starters will be at LB. our DE’s are scary good.

Camp notes indicate that Okwara is making our tackles look bad.

I think he will do that to a lot of tackles this year.

Broken collarbone too. Just like Kmet. No we rd on how long he’ll be out.
