Dominique Easley, who went down in the first half of Thursday’s opener against the Steelers and did not return, reportedly has a hip pointer that is not considered serious but will keep him out a week or two, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Damn, would love to see what he could do if he could stay healthy?

Get used to it. Easley will be a footnote by 2017. He just can't stay on the field. This isn't college and everybody was "the best" on their team.

Easley shows flashes of absolute brilliance but then his lights go out.

Don't read to much into it.
Anybody think we were going to play the Steelers on a wet field and this would be the only injury?
We have a lot of depth on the D-line. He'll be back soon - good.

When I first heard about the hip injury, I thought it might be a pointer. Was a little concerned that it could be even worse. Easley may still be a dud who can't stay out of the trainer's room, like Ras-I-Dowling, but I would like to see what he can do when healthy.
