Well...I like this game so far. Great pace, really open (so I'm not happy with our D for that...but bend not break right now), up and down action. Probably because at this point these teams are on equal footing with injuries. 13 NHLers sidelined between 2 teams (don't know if that includes 2 AHLers out for the Pens). Good pace to this one. GO PENS!

I was getting worried there with all the pressure in the Pens end right before that... but they kept at it... blocking shots and some hard work pays off.

Hard work is all they have right now. Can't say these guys aren't playing with heart, it just happens to be that most nights they're just out-talented. Can't wait to see the feature on Beau Bennett...pumped for the future of the Cali-Kid.

He really found the soft area too...cut right through the two defenders and slid in behind them. Just great awareness. But that shot...dang, in and out quicker than maddog at an Ovie convention.

Sterling's pass to Vitale was picture perfect, and it was a hell of a wrist shot for the goal.

Sterling might be planning on making himself a permanent resident of Pittsburgh if he keeps this up. He's made at least one goal-scoring play since he's been up from Wilkes-Barre.

Hah, if there's no moves deadline day we won't have enough bodies to send them all back. At this point I'm hoping for the return of Kunitz, Cooke (well, obviously he will be back after his sentence is up), Asham, Comrie (as much as he was absent in his minor stint, I think that he still has a shot to make impact with all these injuries), and Jeffrey soon. Crosby, Letestu are more long term.

Wooooow! What's his listed height? I saw Tanger in person, and he was SMALL, so Sterling must be tiny.
