Rick Carlisle to be their new head coach.
What a great move. When he coached there before the team got worse every year.Rick Carlisle to be their new head coach.

"Built, not Bought", dammit...Fizdale signing with the Lakers despite a more lucrative offer from the Pacers. For once, the little guy gets something despite the big market Pacers throwing their money around.
Time for a check in after the trade deadline. Still pumped?I couldn’t be more excited about this news today.
It feels as if we’re righting some wrongs, if you will. We didn’t have the most competent FO during his first tenure here, as they handled the brawl in Detroit about as poorly as they could have handled it.
Absolutely pumped for Rick’s second go-around with the Pacers!!!
Indifferent. Pacers just aren't that good, has nothing to do with coaching.Time for a check in after the trade deadline. Still pumped?
I'm just hoping we can unload Brogdon. So injury prone, not sure who would want three years of him.I heard Carlisle is a weird character. I dont know that he is awkward or whatever but I heard while listening to Dallas radio sports. Dallas didn’t have the roster but he is nothing special. Good coach. If Indiana can luck into a top 3 pick the roster is young but will be talented. Sucks Duarte is so damn old for a rookie but him and Haliburton is very nice. Turner and Warren are veterans but can they stay healthy. Brogdon might be dealt bc I dont see his role for this team and there will be takers in the offseason for him.
The LeVert return was decent but the Sabonis return makes up for it and more. Kinda shocking, what a move. They just need to build around him. They luck into Chet then you have something. Dude looks like another unicorn but we will see
TT is coming. Rubio can’t play anywayI'm just hoping we can unload Brogdon. So injury prone, not sure who would want three years of him.
Surprised we haven't bought out Tris and Rubio yet...
We know you think this has some kind of relevance but you can rest assured the NBA world barely knows Indiana exists. This cool story of yours has zero to do with how good a coach Brown is.Indifferent. Pacers just aren't that good, has nothing to do with coaching.
If anything, it seems as if someone is butthurt about my Larry Brown comments... He was here too and we didn't get to the finals until after he left. Not a coincidence.

KI figured it out.
I am pretty sure you are Ann Brown, Larry’s mother.
Only logical explanation for your unwavering affinity here.

They had potential but too many injuries and guaranteed contracts proved to be their downfall. Has nothing really to do with Carlisle.Since the Packers aren't that good, why were you so pumped originally for the hire, and why has it so quickly faded to indifference?
