Via free agency or trade, what player that's (reasonably) available would be the biggest get for your team?

For the Browns, I think Grady Jarrett would almost single-handedly transform our front 7. Pairing him with Ogunjobi on the interior of the line would go a long way towards improving our horrific run defense while adding an extra beast to get after the QB.

Earl Thomas.

Same scheme as Seattle's so he would instantly fit and would provide the skills and vet leadership the backend desperately needs.

I like some of the potential of the young secondary guys on the team but I think they could stand to sit and develop and let guys like Thomas and Sherman lead the way for them.

Please.

Ha ha! No chance we do that.
There's very little chance that Baltimore lets Mosley go. He's going to get paid.

But Peterson & Thomas are obtainable. AZ could be looking to get value out of PP before he declines. Earl Thomas would be more expensive, but worth it IMO.

I agree, it’s just a splash move. Aside from green, farrior we don’t go after guys. When we do it’s injury history guys we try to get cheaper

Or it has to be the right place & right time like having Haden fall in their laps. If a player has time to explore FA, the Steelers are rarely big players.

Right, but they still didn’t spend large on Haden. And most thought he was twilighting. They never take a guy in their prime

Not large, but still expensive. $9-10m per year, ~$6m signing bonus.

And he's a "slightly above average" CB in today's NFL.

Brandon Graham. Get a steady pass rusher from the edge who can play the run, draft Bosa/QW, and put them with Buckner...and SF's defense will be noticeably better.
