Cousins has been linked to LA, but I think that would be a mistake for the Lakers.

I have always liked Jordan, but like others have said, he just isn't a great fit for the modern game. His skill set as a rim protector is less valuable today than ever before because of how offenses spread out and use the 3 point line. Even then, DJ isn't the rim protector he once was.

If cousins ddn't get hurt I think you'd be hearing a lot more about it. His injury really complicates his entire FA process.

Dude probably needs to sign a 1 and 1 deal so he can focus on rehabbing this upcoming year, and if he can show he's fully back for 20-30 games, he can opt out. Otherwise he gets a 2nd year to opt into to get him 2 full years away from the injury and get one last big pay day in FA.
