I'm coming to Seattle

My son gave me an early Father's day present...tickets to the San Fran - Seattle game on SNF Sept 15th. I'm absolutely stoked! This will be our first trip to Seattle (coming down from around Calgary) and it'll be our first ever NFL game. I can't wait.

Pretty great kid I raised. This will be a trip we'll never forget.

What an outstanding gift. If you haven't ever been to an NFL game and are going to SF@SEA for your first one you are in for one hell of a ride. Expect to leave with no voice at all and only partial hearing! It's going to be LOUD the entire time and as intense as it gets.

Fast food: Dick's drive inn < must see Seattle burger joint
High end steak etc: Daniels Broiler lake union < Won't find a better piece of meat in the city, well unless you are willing to pay for a high end call girl.
Seafood: main stream: Ivars < Seattle institution
Upscale: Anthony's homeport < One of many great seafood joints all around the sound.

Pike place market. Every tourist hits there, but it isn't far from the stadium.

Ray's Boathouse and its upstairs cafe'?
A little farther out to the Ballard coast, but the Seafood there is arguably the best in Seattle.
Dick's,... Yes, a Seattle icon. However, the experience is best at 1:30 a.m. after a few beers.
Underground Tour, starts near the Clink in Pioneer Square, is a great Seattle primer and packs in a good amount of tangible history.
Aviation Museum at Boeing Field is high quality.
If Nature is your thing, Rainforests on the peninsula are a ferry ride away.
