Preseason....plus he's had a few pucks go in off of multiple deflections. Put him and Bob together and they'll be money all year long. : )

Awaz, Vokoun and his contract would have been great. But my problem with Vokoun is his haters down South always complained about him giving up weak and lazy goals from time to time. That wouldn't work here...

I like that Meszaros guy...

I was not trying to rip him when I made this thread, but he already has not been what I have expected. Yes, I know he has played 2 preseasons games, but when yur team finally gets a #1 goalie and somehow thinks giving this 31 year old a 9 year, $51 million MC contract you tend to expect above average play. A few of the goals have been bad bouncers or knuckleballs, but that excuse only flies for so long. I am still giving him a chance. It is not like I have determined I hate him and that he is a bust, but as of what I have seen he has been below my standards.

So lets all hope he gets 96 wins.

Naw both goalies looked good and actually Marty looked good too which is sickening already...haha! I love it that both guys can come in and play rock solid. Goaltending will not be a problem this year. Biggest task keep Jagr fresh for the playoffs.

Brodeur looked top notch, yet he got outdueled by Bob, which was pretty incredible to see. Even though Marty was solid, he still got beat cleanly 3-4 times on shots that clanked off the iron.

i thought both flyers goalies looked very good last night.. bob was better than bryz, but bob got tested a lot more

the only goal the flyers allowed, bryz had absolutely no shot at..

That said, he will not disappoint. He will turn on come regular season, stop worrying.

WHat is your point? That he kept them in a meaningless pre-season game with the exception of two maybe saveable goals? That we are better off with Leighton and Boucher? That Bob should start? That we should have signed Vokoun?

Preseason means Diddley Squat...lol...IGGY WILL BE AMAZING...he will have more shutouts then any Flyers goalie in the last 5-7 years... of course looking back that would be like two...and if he doesnt...will turn on him and tarr and feather his russian ass...lol
