Me too jwil, I thought for sure we would get killed. If our offense could match our defense, we would be very tough to beat. Dalton recovered in second half. Still not sure about him because he seems too jumpy in the pocket when pressure is coming.

The Defense shut down one of the most explosive offenses in the leauge..

they get the game ball.. I'll give them their due as legit

Ranked #1 now in ypg..... Buffalo came in averaging 38 ppg and 430+ ypg....they were held way below both averages.....I think they're pretty decent.....good enough to usually keep the team in the games.....now if the offense could only get going in a consistent manner, we might have something.......

Still, nowhere near enough to get me to fork over my dollars to Mike Brown.............

I'll splash some BBQ sauce on my mine. The defense is good. Still not sold on this offense. Way to inconsistent from game to game. Marv is still a fucking moron. But Dalton reminds me of a young Brees (not saying he is/or will be as good as Brees) when they let him loose. AJ Green continues to impress. Gresham has got to get the ball more. Fuckin beast in the middle of the field. Benson had an alright game but he still blows. One game doesn't change that.

Also Nugent has become a pretty solid kicker. No way in hell does Graham hit that 43 yarder to win.

Before the season, I predicted the Bengals would be Top 7 in the league, statistically.

Statistically, because stats DO lie. In 2009, I believe we were ranked 4th. Then in 2010, we dropped to 16th or so despite having better personnell.

Overall, we don't have one of the top 5 best defenses in the league. Probably not even top 10, but pretty close. But I do love our defense in the redzone. Might be one of the best in the league down there.

Yeah, which is why I don't want him to take too many hits. If he starts getting hit like David Carr, it'll kill him. He'll never be comfortable.
