As the title says - pretend we still have our first rounder, which guys would you take and at which position?

If we had our pick still it would be #23. I'll be back with my thoughts on who I'd take at that position.

I think at #23, I'm looking at three people:

1) Shabazz Napier. I watched him in a few games this year and he's got game. He'd be the perfect backup to Curry. He's got championship experience in the NCAA, he's a good outsider shooter, good distributor and could fill the backup PG role immediately. He's not going higher because scouts don't love his upside and he's older than most PG's in this draft. I think he'd be a steal at 23. (Chad Ford has him going 28 in his mock)

2) Rodney Hood. He's 6-8 with a deadly shot from long range. He's another guy who could immediately play some minutes as a floor spacer. Some question marks, but still lots of upside. (CF has him at 25)

3) Mitch McGary. His stock took a big downfall this year. He was out all year after injury, but has still declared because of some off court issue. Last year he was a lottery projected player. I think he could be a nice big to develop. (CF doesn't have him rated in 1st.)

How come we don't have a first round pick this year?
