I would.

If you had that money it's possible that would feel differently than you do know about it. You're a Seahawks fan, so you're obviously a very smart guy, and I think that most smart people would look at it as a nest egg and an income generator rather than a lump sum of money.

lol if I somehow can get smarter I will become a Seahawks fan aka Mensa

There is nothing wrong with wanting more money, just don't try to justify it like your kids might not get a free ride through college.

That is what he is referring to?? a bigger contract? I still don't know wtf he is talking about with that tweet.

"Change your family's future forever?" earning 4 mil in a year instead of 3 mil in year will "change" your "family's" future "forever"???

A million dollars isn't a big deal in your book? I couldn't care less if a player wants to make as much. I just with they'd shut the hell up about it.

This is my point. The main reason you would want 25 mil over 20 mil is that the 25 mil will become 30 mil faster, and so on. When you have that kind of wealth you get to live comfortably and try to multiply your dollars. That extra 5 million isn't changing his family's life, it is simply affecting his investment power

He didnt say that it was to improve his familys lifestyle, he said it was to improve his familys fortune forever. And that 20% could be the difference between a really long time and "forever".

I have no prob with the kid wanting more money. If you watched a documentary on his life , you could see the kid came from nothing, and his mother actually pawned her wedding ring so that the family could eat

Sure it will. When you're talking about your entire family's foreseeable future the difference between 20 mil and 25 mil is huge.

Everything else I agree with, Foster has always seemed like a tool.

But making more money is the name of the game, in any business.

If I had 25 mil instead of 20 mil I really doubt I would feel the difference. I doubt Foster's family would feel the difference too, unless of course Arian is growing his family ala Shawn Kemp

Didn't he get in some trouble just last year with a disgruntled mistress? I think dude probably has more uh shall we say "extended" family to take care of, he probably needs that extra 5-10 mil whatever, his family may be a little bigger than what he has on paper, lol.

Portraying himself as a "family man" is a bit of a stretch, IMO.

Arian Foster is a perfect example of someone who has the need to be the smartest person in the room at all times.

He's always tried to be controversial. He's just doesn't play on a team where anyone gives a shit and he's not good enough for anyone to really care.

Don't get me wrong. Good player. Great? LOL

Hasn't the owner already provided to secure him and his family forever??

He made 8.5MM last year alone. That would be enough for me to secure my family forever from a financial perspective. What the fuck is he griping about??

I think it was advice for other young players to get as much as they can get. He isnt griping about his current situation. At least i don't think hes demanding à new contract.
