Kevin Sheehan had some very interesting names he threw out that I liked a lot.

Scenario #1

Head Coach: Gregg Williams
He said this team needed toughness. It would be a stark contrast from "Club Jay," and that he would like to see Gregg and Dan mend fences.

OC: Zac Taylor, the Rams QB coach.

Scenario #2

Head Coach: Bruce Arians
DC: Gregg Williams

When you put those combos out there, Gruden/Manusky doesn't quite do it for me.

Jay's offense works, that's why I'm scared to death to move on from him. Living in the 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 world doesn't taste as bad as what we've experienced in the past.

I think part of me doesn't want to revisit 3-13, 5-11. Part of me thinks Jay and this team are about to turn the corner if they can ever stay healthy.

This team was close once. It they had re-signed Kirk, Garçon and Jackson, all they would have to of done is get the defense to average instead of all-time bad, and they would have been contenders.

Instead, in the history of the NFL only one team let two 1,000 yard WRs go in the same year. Of course that had to be us.

With Jay are we closer to 11-5 or are we closer to 5-11? I'm not sure, but I think 6-10 gets Jay and Bruce fired.

I don't think jay gets fired. They just inked him to a 5 year deal last offseason. Danny doesn't like paying ex head coaches dead money. Think Zorn and Shanahan and what he put them thru in trying to get them to quit. no, if Dan wants him gone, he's gonna try and make him quit. which always turned out great for this team.

Jay will be here next year and it could real ugly.

I thought Jay was in the final year of his 5 year deal?

if we get a new HC add 3-5 yrs to the rebuild (lean more toward 3 ) because the new HC and /or GM are going to want their guys

I do think that there is too much talent on the defensive side of the ball for them to be 31st in the league the last 5 games. Gregg could whip those guys into shape real quick. That may speed up the process. I'm on record for wanting to keep Jay, but he's 0-3 on DC hires now.

i think our d/line rotation is good . our olbs cant cut it our cbs lack depth , and our safeties are disappointing

i think tomsula, gray and the lb coach are good , but the DC just cant cut it

I hope not. I like Jay, but the attendance concerns me.

the attendance problem are not b/c of jay. This FO put a team out there that could compete for a division title . That is all a fan can ask for. You cant evaluate this team fairly b/c of all the injuries. Yes more than last year b/c we lost our QB and our #1 WR.

Bottom line is Jay and Manusky stay. No team could compete from what we had to go through.

You are missing my point dean. At no time did I say the attendance is on Jay, but in previous post I have stated that when attendance is noticeably down is when Dan likes to make a splash or shake things up. Of course 25 years of mismanagement isn't on Jay.

ok but I don't see Dan making a move. He has no reason making a move. Give Gruden a healthy team then evaulte him fairly.

Kerrigan was so slow going around that tackle he almost didn't get the sack and save the 4 points.:D

Half a game out of the race and the team and fans couldn't be less interested. I've never seen anything like it.

I may be changing my mind. After this debacle, Jay may get fired. Maybe as soon as tomorrow.
