The author has an obvious bone to pick with the F.O. but could you imagine any successful NFL franchises being ran like this??? Such a joke. Skins will be perpetually bad to average if they dont ever figure out a better front office structure.

The writer makes some solid points. The Skins FO to their detriment always seem to put their butt-hurt out there front n center for all to see and take advantage of. I'm not the biggest Jay Gruden fan, but Allen/Snyder don't seem to give him much of anything to work with when it comes to team direction, players being targeted in FA/draft.

Not sure about his usage of bleacherreport or whatever its called either. Not when they list DJ Swearinger as 14th best and Montae Nicholson as 7th best players in the position of Free Safety. Or their listing of 4 Skins OLBs in the top 40 of OLBs with Ryan Anderson at 40, Jr Gallete at 22, Preston Smith at 6 and RK at 4. I think RK is a little high, but he's been putting in work year in, year out since entering tthe NFL. I can at least understand RK's ranking though. The other 3 make no sense to me whatsoever.

And here in lies the true problem with the Redskins. The Front office IS completely fucked up. And it all starts with the Owner. As long as Danny owns this team, he is going to have his hands in it more than he should in some form or fashion, and almost always to the negative. And he will always hire yes men like Allen and Cerrato to do his dirty business for him. Cerrato was a complete buffoon, but Allen is giving him a run for his money. For Dan's professed love and desire to win, you would think he would strive for the best. But what Dan really hates is being told "no". SO he surrounds himself with yes men.

Kind of a bleak outlook, huh?

Really? You're still trying to lump me in with that group? Maybe you forgot or didn't notice, but my view on him evolved from what he was to what he became. As he improved so did my view of him, humans tend to do that you know! My view ended with me calling him a pretty good QB, which he is, but that just doesn't fit into the either/or agenda, does it?
