Why is it so hard for you to admit that Cavs would have likely won in 2015. Can you think of any team that if you pull their next best players and replace them with Delly, they would actually get better?

As for your their better was defense, i looked that up as well and that also wasn't true. GS averaged 100.6 ppg in 2015 finals, and 99.8 ppg in the 2016 finals, so their defense was actually worse in 2015. Another lie by you...Not to be surprised.

Because I don’t think they would have.

And your analysis is so simplistic.

Doesn’t factor in all the variables that led to what transpired in 2016. The Cavs were better on both ends in 2016. Not having Mozgov helped that end a lot. So did gimp Curry.

You acting like .8 PPG is any kind of evidence of what you claim is a joke.

So in your mind replacing 2 scrubs with 2 stars makes no difference? So would Curry, Delly and Verajao be just as good as Curry, Thompson and Green?

You love spinning after that stats come out huh

Only a complete retard would think 2 d-leaguers is better than 2 stars

You can't crack the top 10 without 1 finals mvp. Those regular season MVP's don't even go to the best player. Didn't Derrick Rose win one? They just got tired of giving it to lebron.

Think about it what is Currys signature victory without Durant? Beating a team missing 2 superstars? Is that really what you are hanging your hat on lol

Do you knock Kawhi for winning last year, or is exactly the same?
Kawhis win last year was even less impressive than the Ws in 2015, and for the same reasons

They were pretty similar imho. Durant went down, but you still had 3 other stars...Thompson got hurt for a few games, so it was pretty similar to what happened to the cavs in 2015. GS got a taste of what happened to the cavs in 2015...Yet nobody would be here claiming that they still would have lost if healthy....If i did i would be doing what Tlance is doing now lol

I can agree with most of that

Kyrie got hurt in game 6 and Love missed a game in the 2016 finals...We weren't 100% in either finals either

But GS got a massive advantage going into the next finals series because of the events of the first finals. They may have been way less confident after losing a finals vs winning one. Love and Irving would have championship experience vs their first finals ever. The heart of the champion stuff lol

It's realistic to say that the Cavs could have easily won both, but shit happened
It's not realistic to say they could have "easily won both" though

Yeah, i will give you that one...I thought about changing it, but it is likely we win. We took homecourt, and if Irivng and Love could have even played half the series, we likely never lose back in Cle.

Obviously it can't be proven, same way we couldn't prove if Durant was healthy last year they beat the raptors, but we can suspect what would likely have happened imo

Injuries are a factor in most series. Warriors got lucky in 2015, unlucky in 2016, didn't need luck in 2017 (that specific year they were one of the best teams in history) or 2018, and got unlucky in 2019.

They won 3 titles. Cavs won one. Raps won one. That's it. That's what's in the books. There were parades and everything

The Warriors had a dynasty and might be able to rev it up again next year. We'll see.

It's also kind of dumb to go for pages about the what ifs. There's what ifs in every sport. But what happened is what happened.

I agree, i just wanted to know why Tlance has such a hard time admitting the Cavs likely would have won in 2015.

It's weird tbh

For the exact same reason you can’t admit the Warriors were the better and team and should have won in 2016.

I don’t believe it.

There is nothing more to say that hasn’t been said.

I do think the Warriors could have won in 2016, just not anywhere near the chance the Cavs could in 2015, or the Warriors could have against the Raptors. They aren't ='s

I also think their is a vast difference between missing Irving and Love for an entire series, and Green for a game...I just don't think they really equate to ='s when talking about advantages and disadvantages. One is much worse, think of it like a sliding scale. One is bad, but the other is much much worse.

Durant missing the entire series is an example of how much worse it can be...And no a scrub who replaces him will never make up that production

Maybe not the finals but I think they'd be a playoff team.

If Curry was playing right now, NBA ratings would be up because fans would have a chance to watch a real NBA superstar instead of James Harden.

This thread can be simplified:

1) Lebron is better than Curry.

There. No need to play the what if game.
