The Patriots miss the play-offs again and do not have a good record is Belichick on the hot seat?

Not until it continues to happen and Jonathon Kraft takes over.

You think Robert would be ok with losing seasons and not making play-offs? Especially after this past off season with all the money he spent?

Happy about it? Probably not. Okay with it? Sure. Nobody smart thinks TB was the sole reason for the run that moved his team's value from near bottom of the NFL to #2. Of course RK investing in the stadium (and surrounding area) is part of the value, but BB is the predominant reason. Yes TB was an over the top force, but who brought that guy in?

There are 30 teams competing in the NFL. Competing for wins, draft picks, free agents, coaches, etc. It's completely normal to have a few down years and amazing this maybe (Maybe!) the first down period in BB's 20+ years.

What NE75 said, and I will add there is a minimal amount of cap that teams must spend. So it's not as if Kraft didn't have to spend a bag full of cash anyway. Now if those players selected don't pan out I could see RK/JK possibly taking over more of the personell piece. But if week one is an indication of what those FAs will do, we don't have to worry about that.

IF the Patriots make the playoffs and win the AFC and then beat the Bucs in the Super Bowl, will this same question be asked next year if he doesn't win two in a row??

Still 16 games to be played. We're all upset about the smelly fart last week. Time to move on to New York.

IF the Patriots somehow fill their BVDs Sunday, I think Bill might be under the "gun".

If JK did that it would be to show "he's in charge" and it would be a pussy move.
I think RK and BB have a handshake deal on how day-to-day operations go. JK and his dad are two totally different people and you're right JK will be more of an I'm in charge owner.

Could be good or bad? More to follow in the next few years.

The "Two Bills" was on the NFL channel last night and I found it curious how they covered the significant events between them but glossed over many of the circumstances behind the events. One of which was the departure of Parcels from the Pats.

I've always sided a bit more with RK than BP on that one. It seemed to me Parcels should have understood that Bledsoe had just been signed to a big contract and really needed an elite receiver to shine. Though Parcels probably had the better "team" perspective he certainly could understand that a) he wasn't titled to be in charge of personnel; and b) both Bobby Grier (who was titled to be in charge) and RK really wanted Terry Glenn. Add to it that Parcels undermined his own argument by proving he had more than ample groceries for a championship.

RK learned from that situation and JK has to have learned too. You don't make power plays on those you really want to keep. You may win but you just can't predict the long term results.

RK groomed both sons to take over when he decides to call it Quits, or Myra calls him to the other side.

His other son, who we never hear as much as a peep about, runs the wood side of the family business. They own paper and lumber mills in central and northern Maine and the largest cardboard box manufacturing company in the world. Kraft met with Jeff Bezos when he first started Amazon and has made every box that Amazon has ever used. Kraft owns a small piece of Amazon because he was one of the first to get in on the opening stock purchase before the public offering.

Johnathan is the President and CEO of the New England Patriots Association Inc. That includes Kraft Productions and Patriots Place and partial ownership of the Patriots Place Casino. The jewel is the NE Patriots football team worth nearly $6B. Kraft is worth about $12B.

Johnathan Kraft is a man of above average intelligence and he's the one that put together everything at Patriots Place including a teaching and research hospital and a multibillion dollar casino.

Robert Kraft has not driven an automobile for the past five years. Johnathan rarely drives anymore because his father says that the most life threatening thing anyone can do is drive on a public road.

As far as I'm concerned Bill Parcell's is a giant piece of shit for "leaking" that he was going to the Jets the week of the Super Bowl. If y'all remember the media talked about nothing that week other than Parcell's leaving and that's all the players were asked about.

Not saying the Pats would've won if not for that but that entire event had to weigh heavy on their minds and likely played some kind of factor in the loss.

Only BB knows for sure what that complete impact was. He and Parcels planned and if Parcels wasn't completely in it, BB would know.

I'm pretty sure you are correct. My opinion is based on connecting the dots.

Connecting the dots also tells me Parcels took advantage of BB and was pretty undermining. BB mentioned Parcels saying he'd promote BB to HC when he left the Giants and said it year to year from 87 on, then shortly after BB left for the Browns (with plenty of lead time), Parcels retired from the Giants.

The way Jonathan drive when he was younger, that most certainly would be true!

In my opinion the real reason why BB left the Jets unceremoniously at the alter is because of the way the Jets and Parcell's fucked Kraft, the Patriots, and their fans during that Super Bowl. And he's been fucking them for 20 plus years straight and will hopefully fuck them again tomorrow.
