The extended forecast is calling for 20 degrees in Green Bay, small chance of snow, wind 5 to 10 mph. Not quite the Ice Bowl but close enough!!
The Packers need to match Dallas somewhat in the running game, this type of game is exactly why the Packers drafted Eddie Lacy. Last year the Packers played the 49ers on a cold day in Green Bay but Lacy was more or less ineffective. He was pretty dinged up at the end of last season but he is in much better condition this year and the week off surely helped. Murray for Dallas will get his yards but his hand is still messed up and it looked like he reinjured it against Detroit. How will the cold affect him? I really think this game could come down to who runs the ball more effectively. Both teams will score points, Rodgers and Romo should have success in the passing game, but it will come down to who can control the clock better. IMO
Packers up early, 17 to 7 at halftime. Final score: Packers 31 Dallas 28
