The first few games of the season we were playing awful and I didn't see a quarterback on our roster. I made a comment which makes me a bad fan in some people eyes where I said I hope we lose the rest of our games so we can get a top pick and get our franchise QB. Well I am so glad I was wrong. I still don't think Cousins is a top 10 QB in this league but I do feel now that he is a true starter instead of a decent backup. Our offense as come along and now if we could improve our defense in the off season/ draft I think we could have a pretty good team. Once again I am so glad we didn't pack it in when things got tough but continued to jell as a team and I excited to see what this team can do. HTTR!!!

Dean, KC has to be in the top 10 stats and production wise for quite a while before he can be considered as a top QB in this league. We've seen one hit wonders before. Let's not anoint him so soon. He could very easily lay an egg this Saturday. Playing in philly is never easy.

Slow down there....we all know first hand that one sort of successful season does not make a franchise QB. If that was the case, RG3 would still be running things around here. Now it is more likely Cousins is becoming one? I'd say at this point yes. His arrow is pointing up. Improving accuracy and reduction of turnovers is showing he's understanding the game better.

1 season does not mean he is a Franchise QB it just means he is a starting QB. Now Cousins has shown great signs of becoming a great QB but i wouldn't list him as a top 10 QB in the NFL after half a year of good play. I believe KC will sign a franchise deal with us, not because he is a franchise QB but because we have no other options. We don't dare let him walk so we will pay heavily to keep him for the next 4-6yrs. I hope he continues to improve and we can build a team around him. Dean where do you rank KC against the other QBs in the league? One thing that I really like about Cousins compared to RG3 is his public speaking. He just comes off as a leader. I purchased my KC shirt "you like that" t-shirt and I think my wife got me Sean Taylor's jersey for Christmas and I can't wait to wear it when we make the playoffs. Playing at Philly when the playoffs is on the line will really show what KC is all about. Let's go KC, Redskins, and HTTR!!!

Name one top tier team a KC-led Skins team has beaten this year. Or in his entire career even. Name one barely over .500 team KC has beaten in his career. And if getting and signing a kick-ass contract meant anything. The Skins would've had some of the greatest, most franchise-iest players to ever don a football uni all throughout the early and mid 2000s.

98 Was Rak when he got it twp years ago. Luckily its Pot Roast for now. SO I guess he could let it ride til we see what we are going to do with him as far s resigning. But I think I better keep a little spare change handy to help him get it fixed... just in case.

Breed, comp % is a big stat b/c it means that the offense is moving the chains and sustaining drives. It also means that his accuracy is at a high level. Accuracy is huge for a QB to be successful. Plus it means he doesn't make stupid ill advised throws.

In KC first year of starting he as surpassed expectations. He is performing very well with limited experience. His ceiling is so high right now. Plus he has no running game and offensive line injuries to deal with. Stop hating Breed. We are very fortunate to have KC on our team. Im sick of fans, analyst, and coaches doubting this guy. Plus look at what he had to put up with in the RG3 fiasco. HIs owner did not want to start him even though he was the better QB for our team. Shanny knew it and now Gruden knows it.

Bottom line is KC overcame a lot of obstacles to be where he is today. Everybody should be on board.

I'm encouraged the way Kirk has played now that he has a full WR corp to work with. As I've stated before I wanted to see improvement this season in Scottys 1st year and I put a check in the yes box on that question. The cap is going to go up significantly and it's not my $$ so whatever he gets good for him because unlike III this team seems to rally around Kirk. You Like That?
