As the announcers said, it's hard to decide who was the most valuable individual in our Superbowl win. I think Malcolm Smith is a very solid choice because IMO his pick 6 gave us a big boost in momentum and probably confidence, too. After Malcolm Smith's score put us up 22-0, which is ahead by over three scores of course, I felt A LOT more confident that we could win the game. I imagine that a lot of the Seahawks felt a big surge in confidence after that pick six as well.

It's always about the big plays. A lot of guys played great football, but a pick 6 and another takeaway exemplifies you making Peyton your bitch and is why he got the MVP.

Other players may have played better games, and honestly probably did, but how do you distinguish among them? That's why the actual big plays are usually what gets MVP on defense,

I'm just glad it went to a defensive player. Any of those guys deserved it.

I think Kam deserved it. He probably had the toughest assignment going into the game and he played lights out. The guy's a TE killer.

I agree, I would have given it to Kam. I'm OK with Malcolm getting it though.

Well, Malcolm Smith does have more touchdowns in the Super Bowl than his older brother does, so that's something right?

Malcom winning the MVP shows a lot about what this team is made up of.
It could have been Russell, Percy, Avril, or Kam. No one single star. A bunch of ass kickers all going in the same direction.

I think Kam, Percy or Russell were probably a little more deserving, but its nice that Smith gets the recognition and perks. He doesn't and probably won't ever make a ton of money in the NFL, where the other guys do or will (and in Russell's case, he's already making significant endorsement money)

Smith, 4 Ints in the last 5 games. Not bad for a 4th LB. Probably made himself some money down the road. Good for him

Smith was the right choice when there really wasn't a wrong one if you get my meaning. Lot's of players could have won it but Smith had the biggest play out of those guys with his pick 6. Add in 10 tackles to tie for the team lead a Pass defended and a fumble recovery and his choice was solidified. He was the right choice when there wasn't a wrong one.

Like the team had said all week. We are a team and will win as a team. They have Peyton Manning we have a TEAM.
