Finally, after all this time, I was offered a job today and start tomorrow at 7AM. It turns out that my ex-employer has not only been giving me a bad reference, but lying in the process (I hope to take legal action soon). the money isn't quite what I was hoping for, but it's not too bad and I don't have to move to Maine.
