I know Suh is still a big influence at Nebraska and giving the University a lot of money, but I hope sometime soon with all the money Suh is recieving he donates some of that cash to his high school Grant. Grant's football games do not have a scoreboard, just a time clock visible, and they don't have lights on the field. forcing games at Grant HS to be played at 4 PM.

Just hope Suh puts some money back into his HS to at least give them a scoreboard and some field lights.

Why doesn't old Phil just hook every school in Oregon up with field lights, scoreboard etc. He could afford it I'm sure. Shit he could afford to buy each school their own Russian mail order bride FFS.

The fact that Suh hasn't helped out Grant HS.........

I would guess says that he holds a grudge for one reason or another.... I mean- he donated to Nebraska before he ever got his first NFL check.....

If I ever hit it rich I will donate 10% of everything to my High School. For some, high school was a place to go and socialize. Or maybe lay the groundwork for their future. Mine was all that, and it saved my life, literally.

High school was a piece of shit and mainly because of the people that you went to school with. Everyone was a douche bag that hadn't matured yet. College is so much better, there is actual mutual respect that goes around. In high school people would glare at you for walking by their locker section on a way to class, at UNL people are friendly and open/hold doors for one another. They don't mind if you sit by them etc etc.

i watched Suh in HS. infact, Grant played my HS I think Suhs SR year. Honestly, wasnt that impressive.

Just like that other guy from David Douglas with the name Owagnda Ohmugube or whatever, suppose to be stud. He played my HS his SR year and he didn't do crap.

Just goes to show, you gotta leave the state of Oregon to find a good coach.

Suh was not impressive at Nebraska either before Pelini. He was thinking about leaving Nebraska and Pelini told him to "leave, you stink anyways"

Pelini said he had heard that Suh was a good player. However, minutes before meeting Suh, Pelini watched film of the defensive tackle from USC's 49-31 drubbing of Nebraska that September, a game in which the Trojans ran at will against NU's defense.

“I said, ‘You want to leave?'” Pelini said. “‘Go, You ain't any good anyway. I just watched your tape. You stink. You couldn't even play for us at LSU.'”

Before fixing Huskers, Pelini told Suh ‘you stink' - Omaha.com

The Pelini's taught him to play.
