I think this one is on our offensive line!
Dalton was under pressure all night, yet he was 22-39 315 yards, 2 td's , 0 interceptions, rushed for 34 yards and............................was sacked 4 times, not counting how many times he was hit and was pretty much under pressure on every down. I don't see how he completed 22 passes with the pressure he was under............
ALSO
Rushing
Hill 45 yards
Dalton, 34 yards
Bernard 18 yards

For the second week in a row, and I don't think it is a coincidence, Dalton was once again among the rushing leaders, and he is no Russell Wilson when it comes to running the ball.

What is wrong with our offensive line?
Dalton shouldn't be hurried, sacked, hit or scrambling that much and the combo of Hill and Bernard should be better than a total of 63 yards!

But all you here is Dalton can't win?

it was encouraging that he helped us come back and tie the game.

I thought he was holding onto the ball and staring down some receivers a bit much, but would seem he wasn't inept to close out the game. nice to see him improve.

Dalton played as well as he could have considering the OL failed miserably in this game.

The strip sack given up by Smith was the deciding factor. Dalton had no chance on that play.

Of more concern is that teams can easily cause pressure by sending multiple blitzes up the middle. Bodine can't handle it. The DE's can continue to just cap the ends and come wide because with pressure up the middle Dalton only has one option, and that is to try and roll out. This will lead him right into the DE's.

This line better get solved or it's going to be another long day Sunday against a very good Ram's defense.

I think if we would start running the ball consistently, you'd see a lot less pressure in the passing game. We need to consistently get good yards on the ground on first or second down..... And that's hard to do when you get penalized every other first down.

Sacks and pressure come when you are in an obvious passing down. These penalties have killed us and they need to clean it up.

Agreed.

Gio has been great, but the inability to get Hill going hurts.

From my view, it just looks like he's trying to break off the 20-25 yarder every run. Last year, he made a hole if there wasn't one, got 3-4 yards and then broke tackles at the end of runs to bring the big yardage. This year, it seems that he's being overly patient, and instead of taking the 4 yard gain, he's waiting for something bigger to open up and then he's tackled.

I've also noticed a lack of passing plays over the middle. Even with the Eifert drops 2 weeks ago, most of them were when he was lined up as a WR or outside. If the offense continues to ignore the middle of the field in the passing game, when LB's blitz, they are going to struggle to take advantage.

I think the Steelers will be the 5th seed. But KC will be very dangerous and they'll likely be 6.

10-6, wildcard. Lose at Houston (again). Hue leaves. Marvin stays. 21st pick in the draft on a guy who wont play for 3 years.

It's really early but I'm guessing the Steelers finish behind the Chiefs. The Steelers have road games with Seattle and the Bengals left. The Chiefs are favorites this week and have a good chance at running the table after that one. The Chiefs also have the head to head win against Pitt as a tiebreaker as well. This week will tell a lot about both teams tough

Either one would be scary to face in the 1st round but with the Steelers QB and WRs I think they can outscore everyone in the playoffs. If we don't get a bye I'd rather face KC
