With the exception of a couple of dumb plays, a few fumbles, this team came to play.

I am happy too. If we are a Top 10 team then we really needed to control this game and we did. I feel comfortable going into conference as long as Martinez stays healthy. I can't believe the steal we got in this guy. My understanding is no one wanted him as a QB, amazing.
Things could get rough though if he gets injured. I still don't feel comfortable if Cody had to take the reins.

The good thing is T-Mart passed his first test in flying colors and he probably won't face another environment like that the rest of the year..

The kid is tough as nails, I was worried when he came up limping there on his last outing, but he got right back out there and rubbed some dirt on it. I didn't hear much out of Crick and Baker today though

I will say I still do have a bit of concern for the guys up front on defense......and this goes for the LBs as well.

At times our run defense looked very poor today.

For the LBs, they appear to be out of position SO many times. But then again that's what we get for Compton and Fisher both being out.

To give credit where credit is due..Locker doesn't take sacks. He knows enough to throw it away..

They gave up some runs early, but the 2nd half adjustments seemed to shut things down..
