We face theeeeeeeeee South Dakota Coyotees.

I know ye all think we should jest run away with this victory.........but I shit you not, this South Dakota team is damn good.

I expect the game to go into halftime probably close to being tied up. I am really jest hoping we can pull out a victory. We have a difficult out of conference schedule.

On Disney's SC they had some coverage about the game and did a sports science piece on it. I might watch some of the game. I'm surprised that it hasn't been done before.

Also the President will be at the game.

Actually Iowa returns the most experience with Nebraska a close 2nd Should be a really good year in the B10. Aside from PSU there isnt a easy win on the schedule.

I've got hope for this team. Doc will get all he can out of them, I do believe that.

Will be better in coming years though. The investment made in facilities should help a lot with recruiting efforts.

The women's team has a better shot at the tourney IMO, even though they're really, really young. There's a lot of talent there.

has anyone seen the new facilities yet? they are pretty sweet. the new lobby, locker rooms, and practice courts will be a great sell for recruits. optimistically, i think nebraska will start to make some great improvements in the next few years.

Huskers beat the Coyotes handily..........nice win to start the season over a team that I honestly thought would give us fits all the way until about 5 minutes left in the game.

Defense was great.

How about Dylan Talley?? Damn, Doc said he was gonna be a good one for us........but I wasn't expecting NINE rebounds and FIVE assists to go along with 10 points.

Toney McCray saw 15 minutes of playing time

Between McCray and those 5 starters, we have a lot of veterans guise. I like the outlook of this season. We need to get that big fat feller healed up though......we need his presence down low.

The thing I like the most about this team: They are conditioned well and they are experienced.

The thing I like the least about this team: Too many turnovers. We will get those fixed though. The bulk of our turnovers came from veterans such as Ubel, Walker, and McCray. They won't make those same mistakes a few weeks from now.

Yeah, my Grandmother died last year without seeing the Cubs ever win a Series. Gonna be that way for me and Husker B-Ball I fear...
