Is this considered the ISU game for the BB team? Is this a sign of a long season? Are we going to say 1 guy was hot and dropped 43 points from anywhere within county?

Issues like inexperience in the backcourt & a poor start for Esa. Easily the most athletic group we've seen in Morgantown...EVER.
I could be wrong, but IMO we're looking at a bunch of talented kids playing as individuals that will gel as a team quite quickly ala Huggs.
Optimist, Homer, idiot... call me what you will.
I think this team will be a handful for anyone (Not wearing a Dook) by Feb.

I listened to Huggs radio show Thursday. He's not happy with this team. I guess they've been lazy, missing practice, and are generally in bad mental condition.

I am not ready to worry because of a loss to a pretty darn good team, Huggins seems to get a lot of teaching done from a loss, we will see how the season plays out, but I think it will be OK

Got to get the guard play up to a higher level. We are replacing a legend in JC, there was going to be a significant drop off regardless of who stepped into that role but unfortunately the drop off may be even bigger than some thought.

front court will be very good imo, I'm not worried about that but back court... might not even happen this year so Im not holding my breath.

All that said, I really don't care yet about the basketball team, they can lose em all until football season is over.. then I'll care .

I think he was expecting to lose that one. Huggs is most certainly displeased with the attitude of this team.

Lose to Buffalo at home. Beat Monmouth. Lose to Western Kentucky. Long way to go but jeezus. Hopefully Dana can keep the focus on Mountaineer Football.

I am interested to see how this year plays out, the only senior on the team is Ahmad, a player who is talented, but is a selfish player, imo, a guy who seems to bring out the worst in his teammates. The guys who are on the team were used to very strong senior leadership last year, which is lacking this year, I hope one of the younger guys steps up and becomes the team leader, as Ahmad will not. Huggins has a job to do this year for sure, I hope things get sorted out pretty soon!!
